Get ready for an exciting day of sniffing, searching, and teamwork at the stunning National Trust Property, Arlington Court! Our event offers a unique opportunity to train your dog in a public space full of real-world distractions, including people, children, pushchairs, other dogs, and all the unexpected surprises that come with a busy environment. What a fantastic challenge to test your dog’s skills! Our 2-hour workshop will focus on building detection skills like area clearance and motivating your dog to search larger spaces, all while managing the dynamic distractions of the location. Dogs can work on their preferred target odour—gun oil, clove, or Kong. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to showcase your hard work in our fun trial, which will consist of one search with two hides. This is a great opportunity to see how your dog performs in a competitive yet friendly setting. Rosettes will be awarded to the top four participants, celebrating teamwork and achievement! 🚨 Important: Due to the nature of the location, which is open to the public, this event is not suitable for dogs who would struggle in a busy environment.
