Area Clearance 📅 Saturday 22nd November 📍 Croyde Bay Holiday Resort ⏰ 2 hours 10am - 12pm Take your scentwork further with a workshop focused on area clearance — the skill of searching a space with accuracy, focus and confidence. This workshop is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced teams, with coaching tailored to you and your dog. Across the session, you’ll learn how to: Teach your dog to work carefully so no area is left unchecked. Build persistence and search duration while keeping motivation high. Recognise subtle changes in your dog’s body language that signal scent or a cleared area. Use intentional handling — shaping the search through your movement and positioning without interfering. Each dog will work individually while others observe and learn, giving everyone the chance to pick up extra tips and insights from different search styles. ⚠ Limited spaces available — early booking recommended. A focused yet fun workshop that will sharpen your teamwork and give you practical skills to take forward in your scentwork journey.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds are given unless we have to cancel the workshop. We reserve the right to cancel sessions due to extreme circumstances such as adverse weather conditions. We reserve the right to deduct any unavoidable costs before issuing refunds. Dogs must be dog and people friendly for workshops. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the training area if we feel the dog is a safety risk. No refund will be given in this instance. We will not tolerate harsh handling towards your dog or rude or abusive behaviour aimed at either us or other students. This applies both in person or online. Prong collars, electric collars or slip leads are not permitted to be used during classes or events.
